Watercolor
For this project we tested out techniques beforehand. We have to make a landscape painting with watercolor. In mine i decided to do the mountains with the auroras in the background.
Art final
For my art final i did a repousse. Repousse has caught my interest and i have found it to be so mych fun. I love wildflowers and the simple but messy look that they have, so i decided to do wildflowers. The difference in the background and the color of the flowers makes it stand out in my opinion.
Repousse
For this project we were given a 3"×3" sheet of copper metal sheet, along with a mat board. We were required to draw into the sheet using a special utencil. I decided to shape a lions face and cut out the same shape on the mat board and taped it to the back. For this i used a white colored pencil and also a couple other different colors.
Linoleum ink print
We had to make a print that was meaningful to us. I chose a turtle to represent saving the turtles. I also named him Tiny Turtle Tim.
Portrait
I am drawing a picture of me and my sister when we were little. One of the biggest struggles was the original face shape, it confused me on the proportions of my face.
Sketchbook
This year I took a lot of time on my sketchbook. We did the japanese stab binding technique. I binded mine vertically using twine.
